An earnest money deposit is usually required in a real estate contract and the parties to the contract designate who is to hold that EMD, which is quite often the settlement agent. Here at Republic Title, Inc., we try to make it as easy and convenient for our clients as possible. Therefore we have a few different options for depositing the EMD with our office which should fit all of our clients comfort levels, as well as their contract’s timeline:

Drop off a check in our office anytime Monday and Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm (excluding holidays)

A Wire Transfer is an easy way to electronically send the funds directly to Republic Title, Inc. from your bank. Please ask your assigned processor for a copy of the wiring instructions (note: an ACH transfer is not allowable)

ZOCCAM is a convenient EMD deposit application where you can send the funds to us through your phone.

Mail/overnight a check to our office. If this is the method you prefer, please let your assigned processor know so we can look out for the check in the mail (please make sure that time-in-transit is taken into account to comply with the terms of the contract)
